Master Plumber

SOS Plumbing of Kentucky is seeking a highly motivated full-time Master Plumber to perform electronic water leak detections and plumbing repairs for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will maintain our commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Base Salary:

• Pay is $90k+ annually
• Opportunities for advancement

Job Type:

• Full-time
• Year-round employment

Ideal Candidates Will:

• Be mechanically inclined
• Be comfortable with learning and using new technology
• Enjoy working outdoors in various conditions
• Prefer an active job over sitting in an office
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights or weekends as needed
• Be capable of performing intermittent, heavy physical labor

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct leak detections on interior and exterior residential and commercial properties
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot plumbing systems and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints and as-built plans with a strong understanding of the Kentucky Plumbing Code
• Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and customers
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Work outdoors and away from the office
• Master the use of underground line tracking, video, ultrasonic, and infrared technologies

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Kentucky Master Plumber license with at least 2 years of experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Energetic team player with a positive attitude
• Clean driving record and a current driver’s license
• Ability to write clear and concise reports
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Professional appearance and high ethical standards
• Proficient with a variety of tools
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
• Attention to detail and comfort wearing a uniform

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Must be able to input job data into CRM

Requirements:

• Valid plumbing license in Kentucky
